Dr. Pamela D. Edwards is a board certified Family Medicine Physician dedicated to delivering quality health care. She provides a full range of family medicine services for males and females of all age groups with a special interest in women’s health, pediatrics and preventive medicine. Dr. Edwards is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Edwards’ experience includes working in both military and civilian clinics. She has served in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps and was a family physician for the U.S. Naval Hospital in Beaufort, SC, for 4 years. Her work with the Naval Hospital earned her several “Excellence in Action” awards.
Dr. Edwards received her medical degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Ga., and completed a family medicine residency at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga. She received bachelor’s degrees in biology and French from Shorter College in Rome, Ga.
